The new Recruiter Apprenticeship Level 3 launched on 10 September in a modernised standard designed to meet the evolving needs of recruitment consultants and is also available to in-house recruiters and talent acquisition professionals.
The new apprenticeship aligns with professional recognition, qualifying completers for certification from the British Institute of Recruiters (Cert PRec for agency recruiters and STAR for in-house recruiters) and Affiliate membership with the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC). Level 3 is equivalent to two A Levels.
What is different with the new Recruitment Apprenticeship Level 3?
- It does not include interim qualifications, allowing apprentices and employers to focus entirely on the real-world, practical application of learning.
- A greater emphasis is placed on aligning the learning with the employer’s business strategy and goals. This ensures that the skills acquired are immediately applicable and beneficial to the organisation’s growth.
- A specific focus on the use of technology, including artificial Intelligence, and a strong commitment to sustainability and the green economy, equipping apprentices with cutting-edge skills that reflect the industry’s future needs.
- The new standard offers the opportunity for a more flexible learning schedule that can be tailored to fit the apprentice and employer’s needs.
