Liam Stannard

Having trained at two top 15 accounting firms (Crowe UK and Haines Watts), Liam gained audit and accounts experience across industries including engineering, manufacturing, technology, construction and the charity / not for profit sector.

After advancing to a management role, Liam shifted his career direction into SME Specialist Banking, where he gained valuable insights into financial transactions, including large loans to housebuilders, high-net-worth clients, and assisting businesses with working capital, fixed asset funding, and retail banking within the UK mortgage market. Returning to audit and accountancy at Rouse, Liam now leverages his combined expertise in both accountancy and banking to provide well-rounded advice and support to his clients.

Liam’s people-centric approach and personality means he naturally connects with people and builds lasting, trusted relationships with clients and colleagues alike. As a certified TAP trainer, an internationally recognised certificate in training delivery, he is well-equipped to assist in the development of our audit and accounts trainees.

Outside of work, Liam enjoys spending time with his young family, their labrador, Maximus, and playing ‘dads football’!
